Asian Water Buffalo at the Farm
We would like to introduce our new herd of Water Buffalo.
They arrived on the farm late in December and have settled in really well. They are very protective of their calfs and have kept us on our toes when we are feeding them.
With our ground being very low lying and extremely wet for most of the year our environment is perfect for them.
The Pumpkins – All Planted
We have planted 15,000 pumpkin plants which will be ready for our annual Pumpkin Picking Adventure which is open daily from 13th of October 2018.
Last year's Pumpkin Picking Adventure was a great success which was enjoyed by
all who came along and picked their pumpkins ready for Halloween.

Easter Lambing and More Lamb Feeding
We have recently combined two herds of sheep at Windmill Animal Farm and have more ewes than ever before giving birth to their lambs here on the farm.
Many of the ewes will be bringing their lambs into the world during the Easter School Holidays, so if you are visiting us during Easter, be sure visit the Lambing Shed, and don't forget the Lamb Bottle Feeding in the Main Barn.
Fully Supervised Lamb Bottle Feeding takes place three times a day – 11:30, 1:30, and 3:30, so make sure you are there in plenty of time.
Out in the Fields in the Winter Cold
Many of our animals are used to hard winters, these sheep, ponies and cattle are quite happy in the cold conditions that we have this winter. We just need to make sure they have all the food they need and that they can have a drink whenever they want.
Lambing Time is in Full Swing
Come and visit us in the Lambing Shed where we have hundreds of lambs being born. Don't be surprised it you see some twins!
The Slinger family and their friendly farm staff will be on hand to talk to you and answer any questions you may have if you want to know more about lambing.

new breeds and different types of animals for 2018.

in all weathers.
Don't worry we have left a little mud to play in!
Farmyard Friends is our new fully supervised small animal petting area were you and your little ones can learn all about, how to look after, and safely handle, our collection of smaller animals here on the farm.
The Farmyard Friends area is located in the main barn and is open every day the farm is open.
Brand New Volvo Mini Diggers
We have just installed two brand new Volvo mini diggers by the entrance to the Play Barn.
The new luxury Volvo diggers are much better to drive than the old X40 ones.

Critters 2 You have proved so popular with visitors we have built them a dedicated ‘Reptile Area’ in the main barn where you can get-up-close with the reptiles and spiders.
